Who we are
This site is operated by Bytecraft. We are the controller of the personal information described here. You can reach us at hello@bytecraft.cc.
What we collect
- Contact form. Your name, email address, company, the project details and any other information you choose to send.
- Email. If you write to us directly, we keep the correspondence.
- Technical logs. Our hosting provider records standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and reliability.
This site does not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. If we add analytics later, we will update this page and ask for consent where the law requires it.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to prepare a proposal or contract.
- To keep the site secure and working.
- To meet legal and accounting obligations.
Our legal bases are your request to take steps before entering a contract, our legitimate interests in running a secure business, and legal obligation.
Who we share it with
We use trusted providers to run the site and handle email and forms. They process data only on our instructions. We do not sell personal information.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted after 12 months. Information about clients is kept as long as needed for the work and for legal and accounting purposes.
International transfers
If a provider processes data outside the UK or EEA, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, and to restrict or object to its use. Email us and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority, such as the Information Commissioner’s Office in the UK.
Security
We use encryption in transit and limit access to the information we hold. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send sensitive information through the contact form.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
